To the left are a series of documents that explain how to use the various pages and features within EthOS. You can refer to these documents if you are unsure how certain functionality works.
In a Diary or Ethnographic Study or a Mobile Device Usability Test participants are required to use the EthOS smartphone application as the sole platform. The application allows for a variety of interactive tasks, including audio recording, photography, video recording, screen capture, and written responses. Additionally, participants will have the ability to respond to single-choice, multiple-choice, and scale-based questions. Kindly note that laptops, desktop computers, and tablets will not be compatible with this project type.
The platform is best viewed using Google Chrome, and our apps support iOS 15 / Android 7 and above. The back end is for all communication with participants in a project (probing and sending follow-up questions). If you want to see the participant experience, you will need two emails in the project (One as a Moderator and One as a Participant). Typically companies use their work email address for the back end and a free email such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc., to view the participant experience. The apps can be downloaded via these links:
