When you install EthOS and log in for the first time, you will be asked to share specific permissions. If you did not agree to these permissions, this is the cause of the issue. To fix this issue, please follow the tutorials below, which indicate which permissions you will have to update.
iPhone Users:
On your iPhone, go to settings, then up top in search, type Ethos. For Photos, make sure it says All Photos, and for Camera, make sure the toggle is on (it should be Green if it is), and for Microphone, it should be Green. Here is a picture of what you want to have on:
Android Users:
On your Android phone, go to settings, then go to Apps, find EthOS and go to Permissions. Under Permissions, ensure it says: Camera, Location (this one is optional), Microphone, and Storage. If your phone shows “No permissions allowed” or only some of the below, you will want to click “Permissions,” and on the next page, click each of these and click “Allow.”
